How come sometimes there is a new post in a subscribed thread but i do not see the notifications alert? Also how am i able to edit my posted post?

Dear bros I have been using my hotmail as the recipient for all notifications. It has had no issues for almost one year. During this time, I didn't change any settings. Then suddenly over the hari raya weekend, I lost my notifications. A friend suggested I uncheck all notifications and retry, no avail. It seems that hotmail is 'allergic' to emails from mycarforum! There's no notifications of any sorts from PM, to topics etc. I had this before with another forum, and I had to swop to a different email provider. I have even gone into the exceptions options to add MCF as a safe sender - no avail. Does anyone else have this issue? PS: I still see the notifications in the forum itself, just no email notifications. Would appreciate any help or tips, thanks!

I like the idea how Iphone consolidates and standardize all the apps notification under the Notification Center, but as for Android, I notice the notification settings are all over the place at apps level. Does Android have a notification widget/apps equivalent to Iphone? Hello. After getting feedback that many members' mail box gets flooded by MCF notifications, we have done some adjustments. 1) Default email notification will be "Daily Email digest". This will ensure that you get one notification per day only. 2) "Delayed email notification" has been removed. The delayed email notification seems to be very much the same as the immediate email notification. So we have removed that setting. Any feedback on this or other "email notification" related matters is appreciated.

I received a letter today from MINDEF about "Failure to notify on Overseas Trips" during my holiday on 25th to 28th March 2010. I'm surprised because I've not done so since my ORD on 1993. I'm not an active NS personnel and I'm PES E type, I've not gone through BMT. I've asked before after ORD that I do not need to do so. I've written to MINDEF to clarify, waiting for their reply. Is this a new procedure from MINDEF for PES E personnel?

was updating some info and email config and I just realised that i got 682 profile views..... wow... still prefer the old way that the forum sends email notification to you only if someone posts a reply to your comments. apparently it dosent work this way now..... now my email is flooding with emails notifications from threads that i've posted in... haiz hope it can go back to the old notification method

Hi Admin, I would like to feedback to you.. Last time when we enable email notification of replies; whenever someone reply to my post, there will be an email sent to me. It is very good cos there is following up and I wont miss any posting that I need to reply back. However, the New "Enable email notification of replies" it become like whenever anyone reply to the thread then there will be an email sent to me. I find that it is not necessary as the reply may not be replying to me. It has lost the previous function of following up of the thread. Hope you can consider this.. Thank you very much!

A friend went to BKK last weekend with Tiger Airways, return flite was at 6am. She went to the airport in the early morning only to find her return flite cancelled. No choice but to buy another return flite from another airlines and burnt her return flite on Tiger.When she got back to spore, she only found out the flite was cancelled at the very last minute by email only. Dont the airline ppl know not everyone will check their email when on holiday? What recourse can she take? How to publicise this matter? This thread also to remind u guys to check and dbl check ur flite itinerary properly.

Send e-mail notification on reply Alert me via homepage on reply See the example here [inline reply_alert_homepage.jpg] You can also default this checkbox to ticked in your Profile under "Edit Profile" -> "User Profile" Cheers!
