  1. Hi, where can I find spare tyre carrier for Renault Grand Scenic? A second hand one will do. Thanks. spare wheel carrier.docx
  2. People as old as me would have remember the iconic Renault 5 in the 70s to mid 90s. I am not going to comment on its reliability not performance, since I have no chance to be in one, but good news for the fans of 5. Thus cutie beast is making a come back, abeit as an EV. Patent images published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) show the subcompact model in its full retro-modern glory, which stays true to the concept car unveiled in January 2021. Compared to the concept, the production-intent revival of the R5 has lost the rear light bar on the tailgate to make way for a black trim piece. It has bigger side mirrors and traditional handles for the front doors instead of the sleeker ones on the concept that remained flush with the door panel. Mounted on the C-pillar, the handle for the rear doors is bigger now. The black roof and red accents indicate we’re looking at a high-end version of the small EV. It is worth noting the third-generation Renault 5 will be electric-only but won’t ride on a dedicated EV platform. The new hatch that’ll dust off a legendary moniker last used in 1996 will adapt the underpinnings of the Clio by sourcing as much as 70 percent of the hardware to slash production costs by nearly a third compared to the Zoe. The platform has been dubbed AmpR Small (formerly CMF-B EV). Unusual for a B-segment car, it's going to have a multi-link rear suspension, which should translate into sharper handling.
  3. Will the folks at Wearnes reading this....please bring in the 1.5 diesel version, please?
  4. At a quick glance, I thought that was a Peugeot... Another SUV-nised product in the automotive scene. The fifth generation Renault Scenic has been revealed as an all-electric people mover bearing the E-Tech badge and sitting on the same CMF-EV platform as the Renault Megane E-Tech and Nissan Ariya European compact EVs. Set to be built at Renault’s Douai ElectricCity Factory, the all-new Scenic E-Tech will reach dealerships on the Old Continent at the beginning of next year with a choice of two zero-emissions powertrains, both powered by LG nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) batteries. The Standard range version comes with a front-mounted electric motor that makes 125 kilowatts (170 horsepower) and 280 Newton-meters of torque and draws juice from a 60-kilowatt-hour battery pack that can offer over 420 kilometers of driving range (in the WLTP cycle). DC fast charging can be done at up to 130 kW, the 0 to 100 kilometerper hour sprint is achieved in 9.3 seconds, and the top speed is 150 kilometers per hour for this trim. The High range Scenic E-Tech comes with a more potent motor that makes 160 kW (220 hp) and 300 NM of torque, all while receiving electrons from a bigger, 87 kWh pack that enables an estimated range of over 620 km on the WLTP cycle. DC fast charging is possible at up to 150 kW in this case, the sprint to 100 kmph takes 8.4 seconds, while the top speed is 170 kph. With this being said, both variants can be charged on AC power at up to 22 kW.
  5. The Espace has lost it way. Sorry but this is the ugliest Espace in its 30 year history... nothing but a bloated Kadjar / Koleos. Now entering its sixth generation, it's basically abandoning all minivan cues. Essentially, it's a long-wheelbase version of the Austral compact crossover with some minor changes to the design. While cars tend to grow in size and add weight, the new Espace bucks the trend since it's 140 mm shorter and 215 kg lighter than the minivan it replaces. It also rides 32 mm lower and has a more spacious third row, but you can have it with only five seats as well. This midsize SUV come with a turbocharged 1.3-liter gasoline engine as a full hybrid with a pair of electric motors. The three-cylinder unit is good for 131 hp and 205 Nm of torque while the main electric motor is rated at 68 hp and 205 Nm. The second e-motor works as the starter generator with 25 hp and 50 Nm. Combined, Renault says the driver has access to 199 hp.
  6. TL;DR – A driver residing along Sixth Avenue took to social media to complain about a Renault Kadjar obstructing the entrance to the house. Netizens wasted no time sending in their two cents worth, with a vast majority ridiculing the one who made the complaint. Cons of living in a landed property? If you have the privilege of living on a landed property, perhaps you might have encountered situations like the events of this story. Here are some images extracted from the post. At this angle, it seems like quite a tight fit. But at this angle, it looks like more than ample space for a car to fit in, no? And how much patience does this person have? To wait outside for 30-minutes? If it were me, I would have honked that horn like a baker kneading dough. Was it really because of the world cup? This incident happened on 10 December 2022 at 1.25am. If you’ve followed the Qatar World Cup as diligently as I have, you’ll know that Croatia played against Brazil on 9 December 2022 at 11pm. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and Brazil got knocked out of the quarterfinals by penalties. The hypothesis checks out! Online Chatter Netizens were unsympathetic to the complaints of the ‘victim’ though. I don't know about you, but like i mentioned above, I would have honked and not sat there patiently waiting while my petrol runs out. But, then again, I don't stay at Sixth Avenue. Maybe things are different there. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Join us today!
  7. Hi bros, anyone know of mechanic who can fix Renault Kangoo? Need to check out the cost of replacing the ECB board and oil pump. Thanks!
  8. It's time for LTA and the TP to take this taxi driver down a peg. Posted less than two hours ago on Facebook, a fellow citizen spotted a Transcab driver driving a Renault Latitude outside Orchid Country Club. Situated along Yishun Avenue 1, the red cab noticed a queue for vehicles to turn out of the road. Not wanting to join the long line, the taxi crossed the double white lines (yikes!) and tried to exit the lane in the opposite direction. In all honesty, if the roads were clear, his plan would have worked. However, just at that moment, a blue cab and a silver van wanted to turn into the lane from the main road. This ends in an awkward face-off between both cabs as the red taxi driver refuses to back off. The citizen recording the video zoomed in, showing the driver of the red cab hanging out of the window of his vehicle, presumably yelling at the other cabby. As minutes passed, the Transcab driver stood his ground between both lanes. As if things could not get any worse, the driver of a silver car on the main road found himself situated awkwardly in the junction box as he could not make his right turn into the blocked lane. The video ends with the citizen zooming onto the red cab's license plate to identify the entitled and selfish driver. Netizens' reactions Understandably, most netizens were furious over the entitled taxi driver's behaviour. Besides committing the offence of crossing the double white lines, the driver intentionally blocked the flow of traffic due to his own selfishness. It's no wonder that people were tagging LTA, Transcab and the Traffic Police in their comments to highlight the issue to these authorities. I honestly salute the blue taxi driver for not engaging in any road rage with the red driver. I would also honk the taxi until he reversed and joined the queue. Why though? Why are they like this? I wonder what Transcab's response will be. Do you think they even take note of the number of complaints they receive on social media? ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 9. This motorcyclist shows us why it’s important to always keep your eyes on the road! In this video, a seemingly distracted motorcyclist follows closely behind a white Renault Fluence as the pair navigates through roads filled with busy roadworks. Throughout the entire video, the motorcyclist could be seen tilting his head up and down multiple times. Upon approaching an underground tunnel entrance, the white PHV slows down to join the long queue of vehicles waiting to enter. However, the distracted rider fails to anticipate this sudden change and ends up rear-ending the Renault. The impact force forces the motorcycle to flip forward, throwing the rider down onto the road face-first. With his feet against the car, the rider manages to lift his motorcycle off of himself. He walks to the side of the road and removes his helmet, revealing broken pieces inside. Concerned, the driver of the white Renault and the cam car alight from their cars to check on the rider’s condition. Netizens’ reactions While we may never know for sure if the rider was looking at his phone, the number of times he kept looking down was suspicious. He can represent SG at the next Olympic games. #motorcyclistforparis2024 Indeed! Kudos to both drivers for immediately checking on the motorcyclist! Hope he is alright! ======== Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Join us today!
  10. luckily not many people drive Renaults for this to be a problem... but if you're one of the many who have a Nissan Qashqai drinking engine oil like mad and didn't understand why... now u know. Anyone went for a test drive? I think it is a better buy than taiyota. More air bags but only cost one grand more, quite worth it. I did not test drive the car but sat in it outside the showroom, the back seat is spacious. Any comments?
  12. Have to admit that this Asskana Arkana is damn sexy. Truly a French affair. Groupe Renault confirms its desire to break the rules and become the first general vehicle maker to offer an international Coupé SUV. The production version of Arkana is an all-new C-segment (4.54 m) model with an innovative, distinctive design. Built at the Moscow plant and on sale from this summer on the Russian market, it will contribute to the worldwide expansion of Groupe Renault as part of its strategic Drive the Future plan. Combining the elegance of a saloon, the sportiness of a coupé and the robustness of an SUV, the Arkana show-car impressed everyone when it was unveiled at the 2018 Moscow Motor Show. The external design of the production version of the Arkana Coupé SUV differs only slightly from the show-car. It retains the sloping roof line, very high waistline and wide, expressive bumper. The chrome components on the grill and around the windows and C-Shape LED headlights embody the DNA of Renault design, to highlight its elegant appearance. When it goes on the market in summer 2019, the All-New Renault Arkana Coupé SUV will be offered in a range of 7 bodywork colours and 3 finish levels. It will be fitted with 17-inch tyres. A modern, comfortable interior Inside, the Renault Arkana Coupé SUV is all about space, quality, modernity and comfort, due, amongst other features, to materials that are pleasant to the touch, a new multimedia system and the MULTI-SENSE settings. The central console is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen interface for the Renault EASY LINK multimedia system, which supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Yandex Auto. The driver can personalise many of the components with practical, easy-to-use apps. Renault Arkana also has the benefit of MULTI-SENSE technology, which gives the driver a choice of three driving modes (Eco, Sport, My sense) and 8 ambience colours. This Coupé SUV is fitted with ideal equipment for winter driving - the steering wheel and driver and front passenger's seats are heated. The boot has a dual lighting system and the folding rear seats mean that luggage space can easily be increased from 508 litres to up to 1333 liters. The Renault engineers have also minimised vibrations and optimised the passenger compartment soundproofing on this new Coupé SUV. And thanks to a new Bose audio system, the passengers in the Renault Arkana are bathed in a high-quality sound approaching that of a live performance. 4-wheel drive for all road conditions The versatility and sturdiness of the Renault Arkana Coupé SUV on the road are the fruits of the joint efforts of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, and of the Alliance's collaboration with Daimler. It is fitted with a new TCe 150 petrol engine that makes its first appearance on the Russian market. This turbocharged engine delivers 150hp and 250Nm of torque, to combine performance and driving pleasure with market-leading efficiency (7 l/100 km in combined cycle). This engine is coupled with an X-Tronic gearbox, to provide flexibility and responsive acceleration, and with the smart All Mode 4x4-i 4-wheel drive system developed by the Alliance. This system ensures permanent control of the vehicle's road holding to guarantee optimum traction, whatever the conditions. This Coupé SUV boasts a reinforced chassis and a ground clearance of 208 mm, one of the highest in the category. Combined with angles of attack and departure of 18° and 25° respectively, it gives the All-New Renault Arkana true off-road and crossover capabilities. Finally, Renault Arkana has been put through a range of sturdiness and durability tests, including 300,000 km of trials in extreme driving conditions. This rigour ensures optimum comfort, in town or on winding roads, whatever the weather conditions.
  13. https://www.thedrive.com/news/42877/french-police-getting-alpine-a110-patrol-cars-for-rapid-intervention-duty "French Police Getting Alpine A110 Patrol Cars for ‘Rapid Intervention’ Duty The mid-engined sports cars will be used primarily for rural patrols. Police vehicles are normally fairly regular cars. Typically, four-door sedans and SUVs get outfitted with all the law enforcement gear, with plenty of room in the back to stow people in handcuffs. Every now and then, however, a police force lays its hands on something a bit special. The National Gendarmerie in France have done just that, ordering a fleet of Alpine A110 sports cars, as reported by Motor1. The National Gendarmerie is one of France's two national police forces, and is charged with the policing of smaller towns, rural, and suburban areas. The force will order 26 examples of the Alpine A110 Pure, as per a French-language press release from the Ministry of Interior. The vehicles will be used to "carry out interventions on the motorway involving high-speed offenders, as a part of road safety or other police missions." The Alpine A110 is a fine choice for an interceptor vehicle, combining deft handling with quick acceleration. Sporting a turbocharged 1.8-liter engine good for 249 horsepower, the A110 can accelerate to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. It should prove more than capable of apprehending the average Peugeot hatchback that decides to make a dash for freedom. Unlike out-and-out supercars, the Alpine A110 is also relatively affordable, coming in at €58,400 Euros, or roughly $68,000 USD for a base model in France. Alpine's parent company Renault won the supply contract in an open tender, and the vehicles are to be customized by French vehicle conversion company Durisotti. Thus, police are probably paying a fair whack over the base retail price in order to get the cars fitted out as needed. The hot police car trope is a well-worn one at this point; some are merely for show, while others actually head out on patrol. Florida's Highway Patrol famously put a Mercury Marauder into service, while police in Japan have often found the Nissan GT-R to be a useful platform. More often than not, however, these vehicles primarily serve as a public relations tool rather than a day-to-day police vehicle. However, given that the National Gendarmerie have ordered 26 A110s, it seems more likely they'll be doing plenty of real work out and about in rural France. You'd want to be in something suitably quick if you're planning to drop a gear and disappear, but remember: you can't outrun a radio."
  14. With EV going mainstream in the next few years, the automotive industry is going through a hard "reset", so will the once viewed as problematic French manufacturer turn the tide while riding on the next wave? Let see... Straddling between crossover and chunky hatchback territory, this electrified Mégane E-Tech is a less glorified production version of last year’s Mégane eVision concept study. If you find the outline kind of familiar, it is because it bear similar proportions to the new Nissan Ariya Electric Crossover, which it shares the same CMF-EV platform and electric powertrain. The Mégane E-Tech Electric will initially be offered with 40kW and 60kW battery packs, with the latter providing a maximum driving range of 470 km in the WLTP test cycle. That’s about +20km more than what Renault had initially communicated when it also mentioned that the electric engine on the front axle produces 215 hp. Renault has not revealed if the range-topping powertrain from the all-wheel drive Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE which pumps out an impressive 389 hp and 600 Nm of torque working together with a larger 90kW battery to deliver up to 580km range and a 0-100km/h timing of 5.1 seconds will be available in the future. As usual, stay tuned for more information. The car will be officially unveiled on Monday (European time) at the 2021 Munich Motor Show.
  15. Back to the age-old question - Is it easier to park with or without cars around you? In the forum discussion above, many said that it is easier to park with cars around you. Well, I would think otherwise. Watch this clip and find out why: This incident happened at an open-air carpark, located at 877 Tampines Street 84. What happened? The Lalamove driver, who was driving a Renault SUV, was caught on cam reversing into a PARKED AND STATIONARY Perodua. Oh wells. I am guessing the Lalamove driver held onto the notion that parking with cars around you will be easier. After realising he hit the Perodua, the Lalamove driver did not bother to even alight and check on the damage to both cars. Instead, he scooted away and parked at a nearby lot. How did it happen? Honestly, I don't know how an incident like this can even happen. I mean, almost every modern car these days comes equipped with parking sensors and a reverse camera. I am assuming that the Lalamove driver: (1) was using his mobile phone while reversing, or (2) did not bother to check his side mirrors while reversing. It is almost impossible to commit a hit and run in this day and age, especially with every vehicle armed with a dashcam - You will be caught, and the police will find you. Netizens' comments Maybe HDB has to start installing poles, similar to those in driving schools. What a shame. Same. I was looking intently as he attempted to park the 2nd time. Exactly my point. Got so many types of cameras - Dashcam, HDB CCTVs, LTA CCTVs and Police surveillance cameras. How to siam all of them? Update: Both parties have privately settled this incident among themselves. --- Thinking of selling your car? sgCarMart Quotz guarantees the highest selling price for your car. The 22-second video takes place in the CBD area of Singapore, along Central Blvd. It's not a Hyundai The caption of the video states that the car racing the Mercedes is a Hyundai, but it's not. It's a Renault Megane RS Manual vs DCT Towards the end of the video, you'll notice that the GLA overtakes the Megane RS before the video cuts off. 17. Hi, Let me start a new thread. Searched but no such thread yet. Test drove this weekend, it is good price for specification offered. Although engine is 1.5, I find the drive is quite spirited, should be due to EDC that is able to bring the car up to speed with its fast shift, faster than the 1.6 bluehdi C4 can do with its EAT6. The car has all the high specification an entry luxury car offers. I am open to critical opinion such as dci failure, french car with poor quality ..etc and hope owner to offers their experience such as fuel consumption able to meet the paper specification, drive and any electronic failure. Thank you.

With up to 430 live viewers already eagerly clamoring in the comment section to see the new car, both hosts delayed no further with the unveiling. Off with the covers! The all new Captur impresses with its muscular architecture, bold SUV stance, as well as distinctive C-shaped LED lighting signature that allows you to arrive with a presence. Julian also pointed out the new air deflectors, which channels air across the side of the car to keep turbulence to a minimum, and its active air shutters housed within the front grille, which optimises engine performance by regulating the temperature with the right airflow. This means that you get a car that slices right through the air, keeping your fuel costs to a minimum. The all new Renault Captur will also ensure you are always first off at the traffic lights, thanks to its power-packed 1.3-litre turbocharged engine that puts out an impressive class-leading 128bhp and 240Nm of high torque. But what if you're on the prowl for something a little showier and colourful? Well, thanks to the Captur's nine different exterior colour options, you're sure to be able to get your car in any hue you desire, be it a bold and expressive red, or a bright and cheeky blue. And of course, if you're in the market looking for an SUV, you'll also be looking for space and practicality. And here, the Captur once again delivers, not only with its plentiful passenger space at the rear, but also with its provision of USB ports and air-conditioning vents. But it's much more than just space that is on offer here. The driver-centric cockpit of the Renault Captur features a largest-in-class 9.3-inch tablet-style touchscreen and a 10.25-inch instrumental panel. The cabin is also highly customisable, with up to eight different ambient lighting colours allowing you to set the car up according to any mood. And that's also complimented with three different driving modes on offer, so you can tailor your drive exactly as you like it as well! Also new in the cabin of the Renault Captur is the E-shifter. A common gear knob design found in premium-makes, the E-shifter is mounted on a 'floating console', meaning you get additional storage space at the bottom of the console Julian also demonstrated to Chiou Huey just how easy it is to utilise the sliding rear bench in the boot. With up to 160mm of adjustability on offer, the all new Renault Captur can further extend its already spacious boot up to a class-leading 536 litres to swallow bulky items. Handy for all those shopping trips! But there's more! After the presentation of the new car, our viewers also got an opportunity to ask questions about the all new Renault Captur and get another close-up look at any features they might be curious about! But even if you missed the livestream, do not fret. The same goodie bags are available exclusively for all those who head down to test drive the new Renault Captur at the Renault Showroom! This new model is being offered at special early bird launch prices. With only a 30% downpayment required to secure your own Captur, you'd be silly not to head down to 28 Leng Kee road now for a test drive!

  20. Dear Seniors, I will like to ask if any of you are driving this particular model, as I have been experiencing it gearbox problems. A couple of time while in the jam, the panel will display a red message warning me that the Auto gearbox over heated. Did went and told the service staff at Wearners, which they told me that this car is using dual clutch. In a traffic jam situation, it will be advisable that i put it to neutral to prevent it from overheating, as the clutch system well keep on engaging while stationary during the jam. The other problem that i am experiencing is that at times, after starting the engine and move on, i will experience jerking or the gears not changing by itself and will keep dragging the gear when i accelerate. Suppose to move from 3 to 4th gears, the gear will just stuck at 3rd. Feedback to the service staffs before during routine servicing, they told me sometimes it is the on board computer system error, which I will need to stop the car, cut off the engine and wait for a few seconds before restarting the engine again and the problem will go away. This morning such problem happen again while i was on ECP. As i am not able to stop the car in the middle of expressway, therefore, I stop it after reaching the traffic light near Bugis. But before that I switch the gear system to manual while on the expressway. I was on 4th gear and try to swift the gear up as i moved faster, but the gear just skip 5th and go straight to 6th gear. Same thing when lowering the gear. I will skip 5th gear and move straight to 4th while i was on the 6th. My concern now is that as this car is coming 3 years old. Should I get the gear box change while it is still under warranty? Please advise. thanks. P.S: I am a normal driver whom don't play with manual gear as I used automatic gear since this is a daily car. When i do reversing, I will wait for a second or 2 before swifting from D drive to R.

  22. Another high-performance car has been spotted in a crash while going at a good speed. Our latest post shows a Black Renault Megane RS going at a decent speed before losing control while stepping on his brakes. e166fed5-f4f3-4fbc-b00b-9de415dbd071.MP4 From the video, we can see that the driver was trying to avoid the road works in his lane but curiously, the car seems to have malfunctioned while he was on his brakes. If you looked at the video carefully, you could see straight black lines on the road, indicating that the tyres locked up before he slammed into the left side of the viaduct before bouncing across into the opposite barrier. While it did seem like the Megane was at or slightly above the speed limit, the crash is quite a mystery to us as under normal circumstances, there is more than sufficient space to stop or avoid the roadworks. What do you guys think? Could it be a brake failure, tyre puncture or a case of the driver falling asleep at the wheel? Let us know in the comments below!
  23. Renault could kill the Alpine A110 after just three years source: https://uk.motor1.com/news/424665/renault-closing-alpine-a110-factory/ The company is looking to cut costs. Renault, like many automakers right now, are looking to cut costs to survive the coronavirus pandemic. The French automaker, part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, is preparing to unveil a cost-cutting plan that, according to a new report from Automotive News Europe, calls for the closing of several factories. One of those possible closures is Renault’s Dieppe, France, plant where it builds the limited-production Alpine A110 sports car. This could put the A110 out to pasture just three years after its introduction at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The factory employs about 400 people, according to the publication, and it’s one of the company’s smallest factories in the alliance. The report doesn’t say if Renault plans to move A110 production out of Dieppe, though in September 2018, the company had a 14-month waiting period for the new car, at the time increasing output from 15 to 20 cars a day. The news comes just months after Renault introduced the Alpine A110 Legende GT earlier this year, which the company is limiting to only 400 examples. It followed the two-wheel-drive race car version revealed last year and a crossover-coupe concept. However, with Renault looking to cut €2 billion (£1.8 billion) from its budget, everything is likely on the table. Earlier this year, Renault CEO Clothilde Delbos said there’d be “no taboos” to cutting costs, according to the publication. Gallery: Alpine A110 Legende GT
  24. Renault to name VW manager Luca De Meo as CEO Former Seat boss will be tapped to lead French automaker PARIS — Renault's board is set to meet later on Tuesday to approve the nomination of Luca de Meo, the former head of Volkswagen's Seat brand, as its next chief executive, two sources familiar with the matter said. The Italian-born executive, who stepped down from Seat earlier this month, is not due to take up his post at the French carmaker until towards July, due to negotiations around his contract, according to one of the sources. Renault declined to comment. De Meo is not expected to face any last minute hurdles in his nomination, and has already won tacit backing from parties including the French government, a Renault shareholder. His appointment fills one of the major gaps left at the firm as it tries to move past a year of turmoil following the 2018 arrest in Tokyo of former boss-turned-fugitive Carlos Ghosn, and reset its strained alliance with Japan's Nissan. Ghosn, who forged and oversaw the Renault-Nissan partnership for almost two decades, has since fled Japan and resettled in Lebanon, from where he has contested the financial misconduct charges against him and said the alliance was at risk of collapse. De Meo, along with Renault Chairman Jean-Dominique Senard, brought in last January from tire maker Michelin, will have his work cut out to turn around the firm. Like rivals, Renault is grappling with a downturn in demand, and has said it expects a slight decline in the car market in Europe, Russia and China this year. The firm has also presented 2020 as a make-or-break year for the alliance with Nissan and is under pressure to deliver on cost savings and joint projects. Automakers face pressure to meet stringent new emissions targets with less polluting models, and are also competing to produce innovations such as self-driving cars, which require large investments. De Meo, who speaks French, will be one of a growing handful of outsiders in senior company jobs in France. The 52-year-old started his career at Renault and has worked at Fiat and Audi among other brands. He is credited with revitalizing sales at Barcelona-based Seat, imbuing it with a more sporty image, though his portfolio will be markedly larger at Renault, whose brands include Dacia and Lada. Renault's finance chief Clotilde Delbos has been CEO on an interim basis since last October, when Thierry Bollore, a former Ghosn ally, was ousted by the board.
