  1. One of the key features of an SUV is the ability to go off road. To use the same car you would pick up your groceries and kids one day and go on mud and sand the next. However, this is Singapore. The only sand and mud we have are off limits to cars (as far as I can find). That didn’t stop a determined Honda Vezel driver from testing his capabilities though. Watch this video to see what I mean. What happened? A Honda Vezel was seen at Simei Carpark driving over a kerb and carrying on as if nothing happened. It appears as though the driver was trying to leave the car park but forgot to turn enough to hit the exit. Instead, he drove straight through a parking lot in order to correct his course and finally leave. Rip to his undercarriage. Let’s watch that again. He could have reversed and prevented any possible damage to the car, like any other sensible person. But this must be some high-level driver’s thinking that I cannot comprehend until I drive for a minimum of 20 years. Comment down below if you think so too! Let the jokes come in You know there had to be jokes after something like that. Notably about what driving school he came from. w My soul would leave my body if I felt my car go over an entire kerb. Others also made jokes about how he was using the car as it was meant to be driven. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 2. SINGAPORE — Two 18-year-old men were charged on Thursday (18 February) over a slashing incident at Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College East on Tuesday. The two Singaporeans are Palanidas Ramadas and Damien Ong Ao Yang. Palanidas Ramadas was handed one charge of voluntarily causing hurt to a Muhammad Luth Hairie Mohammad Fathi with a bread knife by waving the bread knife towards him and slashing him on his head and arm. Luth is Palanidas’ schoolmate. Palanidas allegedly committed the offence at the basement carpark of Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College East, located at 10 Simei Avenue, in common intention with Ong, and two other men. Ong was handed one charge of illegally possessing the bread knife at the institution at around 12pm on the same day. The cases for both accused were adjourned to 18 March, pending Lute’s medical report and further investigations. Four men involved Palanidas and Ong were among the four men arrested over the incident. The Singapore Police Force said that it was alerted to the incident at about 1.15pm on Tuesday. It said that Lute was purportedly slashed after a dispute and that Ong had handed Palanidas the bread knife before kicking and punching the victim with the two other men, aged 17 and 20. Investigations against the 17-year-old and 20-year-old are ongoing. Police officers established the identities of the alleged assailants through CCTV footage. If convicted of voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon with common intention, Palanidas may be jailed up to seven years, or fined, or caning, or any combination of the punishments. For carrying an offensive weapon in a public place, Ong may be jailed up to three years and caned at least six strokes if convicted.

  4. Hi all. My friend's honda civic has been hit by some idiot at the carpark of simei street 1 block 119, just opposite east point, causing damage on the front left bumper and the part of the left side. Happened between 8am to 5pm today, 21/02/2009. Theres a S.H.E event today at east point, so i suppose there should be high volume of people and cars. Any witness/kind souls please come forward if u have seen it. Thanks so much!!! And to whoever that had hit her car, there will always be KARMA!

  7. Last night (30 July 2007) A 23-year-old sales executive heard a loud bang from below his Simei Street 1 block. He rushed to his window and was horrified to see a hatchback crashed into the bus stop below. He was worried that there might have been people at the busstop, so he rushed down to see if he could help. Fortunately, only the driver was injured. He was later conveyed to Changi General hospital for his minor injuries. The police are still investigating the accident. Lucky there Is No People at the Bus Stop that Time.... [sweatdrop]
