The police received a report on April 12 from a victim who informed that he had been purportedly cheated by an online seller after responding to a car rental advertisement on Carousell. "The seller allegedly offered the victim a lucrative price for the rental of a car," police added. "After deposits were transferred by the victim through PayNow to the bank account provided by the seller, the seller purportedly did not deliver on the car rental services and became uncontactable." Following investigations, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division established the identity of the male teenager and arrested him on May 19. Preliminary investigations revealed that the male teenager is believed to be involved in several other similar cases of scams. Investigations are ongoing.
  2. Indonesian teenager to have excess skin removed after obesity treatment https://www.asiaone.com/asia/indonesian-teenager-have-excess-skin-removed-after-obesity-treatment Thirteen-year-old Arya Permana from Karawang, West Java, after years of treatment for obesity, has been declared ready for plastic surgery to reduce his sagging skin as a result of massive weight loss. The surgery for Arya, who was once one of the heaviest children in the world, is scheduled to take place in the next two weeks at the Hasan Sadikin General Hospital (RSHS) in Bandung. "We plan to conduct the surgery in five stages," the hospital's nutrition and metabolic specialist and pediatrician Tisnasari Hafsah, a member of the team of doctors in charge of the boy's treatment, said on Wednesday. Arya weighed 189.6 kilograms at 147 centimeters in height when he was first admitted to the hospital at the age of 10 for a weight-loss programme. He underwent bariatric surgery at Omni Hospital in Jakarta in June 2017. He is now 87 kg, leaving parts of his skin sagging, especially on his belly, arms and thighs. "I am happy. The doctors say parts of my skin will be removed. The surgery will last four to five hours," Arya said while undergoing a health check at the hospital on Wednesday. Thanks to the weight-loss programme, Arya can currently join physical activities with his friends. Previously, he could only lie face down while playing games. RSHS president director Ayi Djembarsari said the obesity of Arya, who hails from Pasir Piring village in Cipurwasari subdistrict, Tegalwaru district, was an interesting case in the medical world. "We are trying to reduce his weight in a short time and, of course, it has to be closely monitored," Ayi said. The hospital's medical and nursing director, Nucki Nursjamsi Hidajat, said Arya was once recorded as one of the 10 most obese children in the world. Another member of Arya's team of doctors, Viramitha Kusnandi Rusmil, said Arya needed a series of preparations to undergo the plastic surgery, so that he would have an ideal body mass index (BMI). "This is a case of super obesity. Arya ideally should be 61 kg in weight. We will know how much the weight loss is only after the surgery," said Viramitha, adding that the surgery would be done when Arya reached 80 kg. Arya's mother Rokayah said the plastic surgery might be covered by the Health Care and Social Security Agency.

Even if he was guilty of the alleged crime, death is too great a "punishment" for him and his parents. RIP. Wonder why police must go to the school and get him during classes. Probably too embarrassing for him.

A 14-year-old girl was helping her father at his drinks stall in a hawker centre at Toa Payoh Lorong 8 when her hand got caught in a sugarcane juicer. Shin Min Daily News reports that the incident took place at around 8.40pm on Sunday (Dec 22). Li Xuan's father, Mr Tan Ah Guan, said he was packing some things when he suddenly heard his daughter shouting. When he turned over, he saw her right hand stuck in the machine. 8. Well, if you're quite a fan of car movies, especially the ones intensely packed with actions, doing some stunts in or probably around a car may sound familiar. However, we all know that you shouldn't try those kinds of stunts at home. Yet, the young teenage boy in the accompanying video doesn't seem quite knowledgeable about it. Well, either that, or he simply doesn't really agree at all that those stunts are not to be tried independently - without any safety precautions, too. You see, the young boy managed to persuade a young girl to drive a Nissan Sentra right into him at a speed that I would say is no less than 60km/h. Honestly, I don't know how he could have persuaded that young girl, keeping in mind that most girls are not bound to do something so dangerous. At first glance, I thought that this boy would definitely end up in a hospital, maybe even getting himself to the ER (Emergency Room). However, it turned out that I was totally wrong. The boy actually managed to spin in the air and come back again on his feet. Well, I think I should give the boy a thumbs up at least. However, I don't understand why the girl driving the Nissan Sentra mentioned that she couldn't drive and that she couldn't see a thing. For things to make sense, I think it should have been the boy who should have said such things. Well, it's confusing but it's also hilarious on one hand, isn't it? Still, though, keep well in mind that this is not something you are supposed to try at home!

  10. SINGAPORE : A teenager has pleaded guilty to three counts of molest - with one of the victims being an 11-year-old girl. Eighteen-year-old Muhammad Sadiq Syed Kadir entered a lift with her at Block 45, Chai Chee Street at 5.40pm on January 27 last year. Shortly after the doors closed, he grabbed hold of her t-shirt and pushed her backwards, causing her to fall to the floor. Muhammad Sadiq then pulled down the girl's shorts and molested her. He stopped touching her by the time the doors opened. However, the girl managed to tell a man who was standing outside the lift about her ordeal. The man threw a punch at Muhammad Sadiq and a scuffle soon broke out between the two. The teenager broke his nose in the fight and the man brought him to a Singapore Civil Defence Force fire post located at the void deck of the block of flats. Muhammad Sadiq was taken to a hospital and the police arrived not long afterwards to interview the girl. The court also heard that he had molested a 19-year-old girl in a lift at Block 19 Chai Chee Road at around 11.45pm on 16 August 2008. Deputy Public Prosecutor Sanjiv Vaswani told District Judge Soh Tze Bian that Muhammad Sadiq had also molested a 17-year-old girl at around 3pm on August 28 last year. She was sitting in an SBS bus service 7, which was going towards Bedok Interchange, when Muhammad Sadiq sat down behind her. He then pretended to fall asleep and used his fingers to touch her left breast. The girl reported the matter to the bus captain who detained Muhammad Sadiq at the control station of Bedok Interchange. The judge has called for a probation as well as a Reformative Training Centre report. Muhammad Sadiq will appear again in court on July 21. Those convicted of molesting children below the age of 14 could be jailed between three and ten years, and caned. - CNA/al Muhammad Sadiq sure kena canned jialat jialat Cant believe it man.. if the girls were your daughter, how would u have reacted?
