The move was in response to Malaysia’s reduction of toll charges for cars, buses and taxis at the Sultan Iskandar Building Toll Plaza (Causeway) and Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza (Second Link) on Feb. 1. Under the revised toll charges, cars will pay S$0.80 at the Woodlands Checkpoint from March 2 onwards, down from S$1.00. Revised toll charges Singapore’s revised toll charges are as follows: In addition, starting from Feb. 10, LTA will be rolling out a new digital service to enable owners of public service vehicles, such as buses and taxis, registered on Asean countries to apply for the Asean Public Service Vehicle Permit (PSVP) via the OneMotoring website. LTA said the initiative will make it more convenient for vehicle owners, and add to the suite of digital services currently available for foreign-registered vehicles, such as online application of VEP/Autopass Cards for foreign-registered cars and motorcycles. The application must be submitted at least seven working days before driving into Singapore, LTA added. When online payment for and delivery of VEP/autopass cards are available, vehicle owners can look forward to even greater convenience. Vehicle owners can refer to the online video guides on the OneMotoring website on the use of these digital services.
