As of 15 August 2023, your YouTrip service now works on Apple Pay. 10% cashback for public transport (MRT and bus only) Celebrating this milestone (and YouTrip’s 5th anniversary) is a cashback campaign between 15 August and 15 September 2023. YouTrip cardholders will earn up to 10% cashback when using their YouTrip card to pay for public transport via Apple Pay. The cashback applies only to public transport spending (MRT and public buses only), with a maximum cap of S$10 per user. A minimum spend of S$20 in each campaign month is also required. Non-iOS users can also enjoy 5% cashback for contactless public transport via their YouTrip card. YouTrip with Google Pay Not much detail has been shared, but YouTrip did say that “Google Pay is also slated for launch later this year”. We’ll update again if it comes around.
