I'm driving a Pinic. Presently, at 78500km.

For the last 2 weeks, when I stopped at traffic junctions,

the engine vibrated at idle on drive mode.

What is the problems?

are you sure it is your engine that is vibrating? My father currently drives a lancer glxi and his car's dashboards vibrates whenever he stops his car. Some times the brakes sort of vibrates when he steps on the brake. But luckily he is about to change car liao

got to make sure if it is really the engine vibrating cos for my case i found out it was my faulty aircon compresssor causing the vibes. turn on and off your aircon to determine. otherwise, it could sometimes be a lengthy affair trying to determine the cause.

How is the condition of your battery and the capacity.

Though it may be remote but a possibility

The electronic control board that controls the fuel injection, idling mode and etc.

For this portion, defintely BM is the expert.

FYI: My friend encounter the same issue until BM replace the ECU.

If battery is okay. but it's better to check at any battery shop for condition, its free, only a loading test and to see the charge of the battery. Then maybe its the petrol u pump lately. Try filling up a higher grade next round to see if it improve or disappear. Don't think anything serious.

go to ur favourite workshop, ask them to use a jack and jack up til it touches ur engine. Then u sit in ur car and feel. If it doesnt move or shake, then confirm its ur engine mount.

Hi Bros,

BM have found the following problems:

Belt tensioner faulty....to be replaced....under warranty.

ISC valve faulty....to be replaced....under warranty.

Thottle body assembly dirty....recommend overhaul.

My Pinic is now in good running condition.

Thank you for all your inputs.
