Koolaba 1st Gear June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 The Aveo is a respectable ride, considering the price that you have paid. I was viewing the Chevrolet models and Toyota PI models which were displayed side by side at Suntec Convention Centre Level 4 yesterday (after PC show). You will be surprised that the finishing of the Chevrolets, especially the Korean-built models, are much better than the Toyota Voxy, Alphard and Estima with respect to the quality of paintwork, quality of welds, finishing of joints. Only the Toyota Harrier outshines the Chevrolet in terms of build quality. Enjoy your new ride.
Tashi Clutched June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 yes mate, the Korean made Chevy (Aveo or Optra) all have very good handling. Both my wife and I tried the Aveo and the Optra (all variants) before we tried the Skoda. My wife was partial for her personal reasons, so we ended up with Skoda, but Chevy are very decent rides. Catch up with you next time? Seems that the "manual" issue bugs many couples here? I guess auto cars are going to become the norm. bless tashi
Davidcks 1st Gear June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 haha, you said it bro!! For me, I suggested to my wife to take up auto when she took up driving, and she got her 3A on the first attempt. Guess I would be less stress knowing that she is driving a auto car.
Sony 1st Gear June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 I believe Brother Fortress is looking for an armrest. You might want to PM him to see if he's keen. I think the armrest look quite similar to the one on some of the Astra.. Can chech how much you paid for it last time? is it original or aftermarket? Cheers

Sony 1st Gear June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 If it's from KW, no need to check liao.. I know his "price" well. Our Opel Astra didn't want to get from him but we do our groupbuy for another design. Thanks for the infor
Raptor Neutral Newbie June 6, 2006 Share June 6, 2006 Check the post below: http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/Volkwagen_...lders_P1220437/ I got an aftermarket armrest identical to the OEM's design at a much cheaper price than KW, it fits well to the Octavia with some simple modifications. ↡ Advertisement
