Peugeot's 908 Le Mans contender racing car: a 5.5 V12 HDi diesel engine producing 700 bhp.

 

It was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, the 908 has almost no implications for any of us, cept that the upcoming Peugeot 607 will be based on the 908 - largely asthetics and chassis wise of course. Doubt the 607 would come with a 5.5litre V12.

If this replaces the 607, this will be the new 608 then. Looks good.

Well, it'll not replace the 607, but the new 608's looks will take cues from this 908 RC Peugeot. Or at least that's what Peugeot said.

Simply put it, they just turned the 6 over to become a 9.
