EventH 1st Gear December 6, 2006 Share December 6, 2006 (edited) I forgot whether it is from Ric-tat (owen rd) or Yong Soon (dickson rd). 1 bottle is enuf for my altezza ... should be roughly the same for most small-mid size cars. My mech flush tap water into the radiator after draining the old fluids. I suppose topping up with a little water, if 1xbottle not enuf, should not be a problem. Pweelee Neutral Newbie December 6, 2006 Share December 6, 2006 As above ... thanks for replying.. Being driving toyota G7 - G9 till date, personally feels that the original Toyota coolant is definitely better as compare to aftermaket brand. Check out the price with Huat Lee cos my ride is maintenance by Nigel. Should not be a big difference in price, i hope. Happy searching

Choo Neutral Newbie December 6, 2006 Share December 6, 2006 By defination of 'coolant' it could be - a product that is made without the dilution of water, 100% pure - or a product which has been premixed with water, to the correct mixing ratio between water and coolant (chemical) itself. you have to be very sure the mixing ratio has to be correct as this will have an impact to temp when running your engine, check you vehical operational manual for detailas. ratio too high, (too little water), to much concentration will increase your engine running temp, this could be compensated by the vehical's thermalstate ratio too low, (too much water), the coolant mixture will not provide sufficent anti-correction to your system and corrotion will take place. hope this helps. Better call him up first to check if his garage is full of cars waiting for him.
