Rules on allowable filled height of pickup/lorries still around?

Today saw another one of those light lorries with added shelter height more than twice the height of its width. From the looks of it, its CG is well out of place and I suspect when turning corners, its more likely to tilt over. Very dangerous looking [shocked]

Doesn't TP or LTA forbid modification to add height to existing roof/shelter of lorries/pickup anymore? or is there a change of rules? just like allowing bangla to sit behind speeding lorries? [dizzy]

Have also seen a number of tipper truck that fills its rear with some furnitures or waste metals beyond its rim and top, especially around Tuas area. Even saw one last week with furnitures stacked such that the height of rubbish is twice its normal height. Reminds me of streets of india where everything goes. [hur]

It feels very intimidating to follow behind them, in case one of the metals falls. Cannot imagine what will happen if this happens. Has LTA or TP took note of these "new" vehicles on the road lately? Are these modification now allow [hur]
