Carcraze 1st Gear April 11, 2007 Share April 11, 2007 (edited) Thanks...New to this.. I dont believe the FC..But an SUV for that price....hmmmmm actually, i don't really doubt the FC figures. since it's a manual transmission, 13km/l on average is possible (depending on driving style). anyways, if you really want to get a chery, at least wait for the V5? that looks decent (both interior and exterior). Try_conti 2nd Gear April 11, 2007 Share April 11, 2007 if daimler chrysler pulls this off, it will be good for chery. but if dc doesn't put the necessary qc checks in place, that will spell an end to their hopes of trying to gain share in the sub-compact mkt. they'll become the laughing stock. Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 12, 2007 Share April 12, 2007 (edited) The trend that things are going now,China is the big market now.even the everyday stuff that we are wearing now are made in china.Look at NIKE...their stuff so expensive but actually mada in China. We are just paying for brand name. Looking at Daimler Chrysler partnership with Chery..German are one of the best in automotive industry and yet partnering with Chery. http://sg.biz.yahoo.com/070227/3/46ybz.html They don't have a choice. part of the requirement of selling cars in china is that they have to link up with a Chinese company to make cars. It either forget the market or suck it up and make money. Edit: i forgot the last alternative... pay taxes that would put their cars out of the reach of the mainstream consumer. Jerrcik 1st Gear November 20, 2011 Share November 20, 2011 Hi bro, Congrats on your new car. Though its second hand, hey, welcome to the china car owners. I own a chery t11 1.6 instead. There is always a funny sound at the rear. It is the brakes. Apparently, whenever you brake, the rear will emit a weird sound....but not to worry with the sound. One must remember its MIC. By the way, since you just bought, please bring it to vertex and do a servicing there. Its expensive with an attitude. Just to remind you but nothing settles you down with a servicing session with the AD. How old your T11? If your T11 is less than 2yr, you should a workshop credit of 1000 bucks. I still have around 400+. If not, you can always head down to Chee goon motor in amk to check it out. They are specialise in MIC cars. If you need spare parts, you can contact a person named Nelson. He got contacts from suppliers and can get you at a lower price. Labour not included. To aid you at your MIC car issues or just wana hang around, do go to www.http://sccforum.sg The website is dedicated to all MIC owners. My nick there is WaOLaO. The admin there is Nelson. Chee goon adderess is there too at the advertising section.
