Silver_blade Turbocharged May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 Nice car. But why they choose to call it 'Viva'...an almost iconic name associated with Vauxhall. I wonder if 'Viva' is patented by Vauxhall or GM.

Vit4wd 1st Gear May 13, 2007 Share May 13, 2007 (edited) Viva to be launched in S'pore 1st Q 2008? Where did you get the info from? The Kenari wass in Msia for donkey before this "old" model was launched in S'pore last yr. The Viva might make it to S'pore shores only in 2009, judging from past records. Loftcross Neutral Newbie May 13, 2007 Share May 13, 2007 (edited) In the infocomercial, when the guy fold down the seats (ard 2:07)he also remove parcel shelf.he then dump the parcel shelf in the gap between the rear seats and front seats Feels very cheapo However its good that the rear seats can be folded down completely flat in one action. Loftcross Neutral Newbie May 13, 2007 Share May 13, 2007 It's a rebadged Daewoo Lacetti(What Optra is known as in AU).Perhaps they hope that Holden badge will increase sales?I doubt that
Twnll 1st Gear May 13, 2007 Share May 13, 2007 (edited) Rebadging is common, I guess it takes a lot to come up with a car. I would like the rebadged version to have something more distinctive like different headlights, tailights, interiors, etc. Not as difficult as engineering a car from ground up.
