WTB new rims & tyres (reasonable price + light weight)

bro here, as above, any lobang for the above??? i now using 16" finalspeed rims plus maxis za1 tyres, hoping to upgrade 17" lightweight rims such as OZ+eagle F1 tyres .......... any recommendations i make a fast search, c till i c stars liao, but still no conclusion, therefore hope sm kind souls cn assist. btw, my budget will be ard $800+trade in (nt neccesary must b OZ lah,light weight will do.

Light weight is a relative term, it depends how light you want to go. Forged rims are typically lighter for each brand. Problem is they also cost a lot more.

 

Why dont u check out shops which may have 2nd hand traded in forged rims.

 

BTW is OZ really light? I know OZ supplies to BMW and Renault formula-one teams.

i m really nt familiar in all this wheels stuff lor, thats y hope sm1 cn enlighten me [flowerface] as 4 OZ, i read online that they claimed they r 1 of the lightest rims in the market lor. Hw true [hur]

how is 2 piece jap rims diff. from forge and cast? sorry not sure abt rims but I change my stock rims to a 2 pieces jap rims.

2 piece wheels are made from cast or billet centre welded into a spun forged barrel.

These are method of production/design some of them are 1 piece,steel alloy,forged,cast,billet flowerface.gif

haha, thx 4 all bros advice, i got my rims fr my friend wkshop liao,i top up only 750 [thumbsup] btw, its also ultra light weight at 8kg/rim. [sly]
