Streetbumpkin Neutral Newbie September 26, 2007 Share September 26, 2007 Its not noisy at all.Unless u jam it really hard to put it to the test..Only under hard braking the sound can be hard towards the end..
Streetbumpkin Neutral Newbie September 26, 2007 Share September 26, 2007 (edited) My humble brakes for a 1.6L Corolla. There are others who have mini 4 pots on their corollas. Most need 16" rims at least to get enough clearance, depending on brand. But there are other considerations of upsizing rims to handle the bigger rotors and caliper which will affect pickup speed and fuel consumption and cost that set me back.So i stick to 15" rims.Stock brakes is definately not enough for me Caliper is kept stock Edited September 26, 2007 by Streetbumpkin

Chemz Clutched September 26, 2007 Share September 26, 2007 Mine is a Civic, I'm on ordinary orginal factory 282mm brake kit. I've no problem going and up down gentings and stopping at high speed. I think frequent change of brake pads and the use of high performance tyres are good enough. Regards, driving the integra, i think the stock brakes are smaller than civic's, and they sure are spongy and hard to stop. anyhow, the solution to that would be to brake early.. =(
Nitrous Neutral Newbie September 26, 2007 Share September 26, 2007 yeah, i agree, its useful for trackies, as they can brake harder n later before the corner..which is crucial. ↡ Advertisement
