FD starting need hard pressed throttle

 

Maybe I din state clearly which variant of civic I am comparing.

R u saying even FD 2.0 or 1.8 will lose?

Anyway, is it true that honda ivtec models thrive on higher revs, opposite to toyota cars in general?

Then how abt vios vs wish since both are relatively quick?

I saw one had a bad accident... the whole front crumpled I think bang into a tree. Car got sport rims and body kit, which means 10bhp faster....

 

But I reckon it is a good family car... tried one before.

But since you have tried wish, how do u find wish's pickup and handling?

Generally, I would say it has good ride quality. Acceleration is nothing I can remember but I think it is ok since I didn't fault it. Handling a bit CMI, it is like driving a mini van. But overall competent car for hauling your family around. It meets my expectation of a cost effective MPV.

 

But I guess most MPV/SUV handles like that unless you have 4Wd.

Depends on who is driving and with proper supervision, Wish can do most tricks like any othe saloon car. Wish groupie show what can be done during last Sun defensive driving session in Kallang hosted by Footworks and Fuchs. There are other rides participarting from Stream, Civics to WRX. Theses are your average family man having fun on sunny weekend

I saw this "WISH" taxi, brownish orange in colour on the road ytday.

 

i have seen a honda stream, honda airwave as taxis on singapore soil... its everywhere..

Soon...the new lancer EX will also join the ranks of sunnies, altises, & civics. Seen quite alot recently despite it being launched just barely 2 months ago.

For me, the after sale services is what I am looking for.

 

Not to discredit PI but PI do not have a reliable workshop to maintain vehicles sold by them. Take my friend Estima for example. Max speed it could go is 110km for a 2.4cc vehicle. Send to several private workshops and unable to solve the problem.

 

In the end, had to write to BM and also fill in some forms just to request for repair at BM workshop. BM agreed and he was referred to BM, West Coast Service Centre (behind Champion Motor) and get it done but without after service warranty. Paid slightly more for the service and now, he is a happy man after going to BM workshop.
