Why not you tell us, how are you going to do that with just a few resistors? Once you tell us, i do a test side by side with that product in discussion using lab equipments. Fair?

How about a small little biography of yourself?

What do you specialise in during your 12 years of mech life? What ASE certification do you have?

What type of software programmer are you? Some people call programming embedded systems without OS professional programing. [sweatdrop]

The field of circuit design is by far large and wide. What do you design? Digital? Analog? VLSI?

I've did a number of design on Robotic operation as in welding , CNC plastic injecting mold using MasterCAM and other aspect as my full time job.

But currently I'm starting into designing and manufacture Access controller and Security Alarm system in Malaysia.. very busy!!

I'm only versertile in Java-Netbeans,VB and C++ .. other lang. might take some time for me.. mostly custom application for POS(few years back).

I'm more on digital design, using ATMEL AVR processor and most are wrote in BASCOM-AVR for digital application , not to mention using Microchip PIC and Freescale Processor as well.

These are just partially for what I do for living..

[hur] I'm a SIAO lang (mental problem) all my firends always called me.. Wahaha!! [hur]

quite agreeing with u on the pricing.

that is way too high as compared to the compoment cost.!!

But of course, ppl have their own expectation over cost...

I've Base on Bosch ME-Motronic schematic and Freescale Automotive Electronic Throttle control Application notes, Why NOT?

I'll get it done this coming weekend..

But Firstly , what do you want to proof? I'm wrong with few resistor?

if u can provide a reliable and viable alternative to SB, pls share. otherwise u can boast but the poor folks out there who want more responsive throttle have no alternative but expensive set of "resistors" called sprintbooster [rolleyes]

u trial and error few days, maybe spend hundred bucks, but u can sell it at $200+ [sly][sly][idea]

of course, provided that you can actually do it.

Impressive indeed, but i would like to remind that, that isn't alot to shout about, esp in a public forum. We have got people who have much more experience being super humble here.

Please give credit where credit is due. Mongater was actually quite humble. His remarks were made for common folks to be aware of the simplicity of the device and whether they still want to pay more, it is really up to them.

Just get it done, and show us? The only thing i wanna proof is that you can alter the dynamics of the control signal via just passive resistors? If you did that i can prepare a conference for you. If you are into embedded, you definately know what i mean.

Do it, and try it against the sprint booster.

That schematic tells basically, nothing, other than a proven working design of how to extract the output. A embedded system designer like you definately won't be just picking up the schematics of a basic design? [sweatdrop]

Well, i am just sceptical of that, a full passive system can perform like the sprint booster. Thats why i asked for him to get it up and working, before making that claim? I offered some help if he requires verification or testimony in his system.

seems like the situation now is that people are angry with the proposition from someone that there are overpaying alot for just a few resistors.

well....pretty much understand the explosive atmosphere here.

just imagine yourself people saying that you paid a few hundred dollars for a few resistors which cost maybe a few dollars.

peace....

In certain way...ignorance is bless...

if, let say, i know nut of the resistor and IC stuff,,,i will be quite happy to pay a few hundreds to obtain a addtional sprint...the problems lies in that the fact that we know the actual cost price. Do we still wan to pay that amount..

same for the solar film ...actual cost is low...however..for the installation of such requiers some skill...so as a whole we, lan lan got to pay for the services...

I used to have a personal small A4 size computer Vinyl Plotter which cost few hunderds US dollars.. unless you have enough money to pay for those big 60"-80" wide plotter which cost about US$9-10,000 dollars, you can even setup a small vinyl plotting business for yourself. And US10K for a DIY vinyl cutting project is definately not a good idea!

haa ha...

you said it right on the spot....!!

i happen to see the actual item of this gauge(sprint Booster), when i visit a workshop sat, such a small "plastic" cost a few hundreds....

Is it the importer jack up the price ??

maybe need to do a cost benefit analysis..hee hehe...

they will charge high price until such a day comes where there is competition [:/]

a lot of things is abt concept, application, not cost price.

dun tell me pple dun buy sports shoes cos the cost price is under $5 bucks. but can pay 200+ or even 300?

if i were serious runner, lan lan have to pay. but for me i occasional runner (more of ippt [laugh] ) so i buy $50 bucks shoe

SB, if i want, no choice have to pay. the effect will be different from merely stepping harder on accelerator

this is why i love my simple cable throttle [cool][thumbsup]
