it's pretty cute. great for city commutes, though i suspect range would be an issue.

IMO all the major Jap manufacturers have the necce resources to b actively involved in electrical cars and in fact they r in very advance stage of finalizing their final prototype. MMC already has a Colt and Lancer EVO version and it is likely the Colt version will b the initial venture.

 

The bigger ones like Toyota n Nissan tends to favor fuel cells but MMC is more involved in abnormal dry cells with Yuasa/ MHI. MMC is also integrating with a power supplier in Japan to provde power kiosks.

 

although such products r yet to hit the market, it is very good investor news and prop the shares and as u can see, the Jap r really gg all out to woo investors and consumers. given the fact the Koreans r yet to show any substantial competition in this field.

 

bottomline: dun knock off the Japs too early on this.
