Sky8807 1st Gear January 13, 2002 Share January 13, 2002 Tried it on 2 cars. No problemo. Present in my car now. For the record, driven to Malacca, Genting and Bukit Tinggi (near Genting) on the karak highway. So far no complain. Is it good for the engine? To me it is. Is it quieter on the engine ? Think so Does it makes engine run smoother? So far engine not rough throughout rpm range Does it help cold starts ? Guess so, tried it at genting, one start Improve power ? Maybe, acheived top speed with little effort Anything abnormal happen? None that I know of Would you recommend to other? Why not
Madarmour Neutral Newbie January 13, 2002 Share January 13, 2002 Motor Up, like Slick 50, was sued by the US Gov for making unsubstantiated claims.
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie January 13, 2002 Share January 13, 2002 Try this "snake oils" with a pinch of salt, won't blow your engine but long term ill effects (if any) difficult to tell within the COE lifetime of the car Unless U do dumb things like running a frozen engine without oil, then normal day to day application with Motorup shouldn't be a problem. I've used Motorup in my brick before, no significant improvement or negative effects but flushed it out two oil changes later after hearing of the negative flames on the product on forums. I've been running with engine oil and regular changes, me brick still running strong. No need steroids
Watzup Neutral Newbie January 13, 2002 Author Share January 13, 2002 Hummm me tempted to try Motorup, since it doesn't seems to harm the engine and if no improvement then just a $40 bet lost lor.
Sky8807 1st Gear January 13, 2002 Share January 13, 2002 The choice is yours. The sueing part is no big deal, everybody like to advertise the impossible and in the US u can get sued for almost anything and everything. I used it on my previous car and present car, can safely say no worries. I have tried slick 50, that one, to tell the truth, no benefit at all and I would not recommend to anyone. Tookara Neutral Newbie January 13, 2002 Share January 13, 2002 anyway i've tried magdaco. no discernible difference. how ever I wish to stress that it was an EXCELLENT experience. why? Maybe its because I'm quite 'well known' (haha- i know u must be thinking this guy joker siah, blowing his own trumpet) but the Boss Tony Yeo gave me a new bottle when I told him, no questions asked. Good way of doing business. If nothing else, his ethics really shone through. Sometimes when car parts dealers give me wrong belts want to change also they not happy. A refreshing change I must say. ↡ Advertisement
