IMHO, the exterior styling is still far from Lexus. The interior is even far away from Lexus(

). For sure, price is far far away from Lexus. What is the purpose of this thread? Hyundai better than Lexus?

I was considering seriously about getting a Korean car and almost wanted to get the Sonata but very disappointed with its interior and steering then. Web pictures looked nice but the actual thing is different. Perhaps, I was expecting alot from a Korean car. Sure hope those stripped down new models that are eventually sold here match up to the competition but not in price.

I am not a fan of the GS Lexus, but between the lexus and that hyundai, I ll have to say I find the lexus much better in styling on exterior. This Hyundai's design is neither here nor there.

 

Engine wise Lexus have that smooth gradual acceleration feeling. I dont Hyundai can match that but we will see.

hi, kelpie...not sure those sonata at komoco are the latestest ones or not... the new face lift have different interior.... the 2.0L theta produce 164bhp....

I don't know about the Theta, I only knew they were sued before for overstating horses in States. It was an out of court settlement. Anyway the current one still 140 something.
