i don know about others la.. i rented a getz 1.3A 1 week ago.. FC was really bad.. only 10km/l.. drink petrol like water. either poor maintainence or what la.. somemore i drive damn light-footed RPM nv hit more than 3000..(auto car) driving 95% without air-con.. FC still so bad.. haiz..

when I ever change to a honda my FC would be superb cos on a drinker I oredi achieve crediable results. Its the driver in most cases and driving light footed does not mean FC would be lower in most cases.

yup.... FC is no good. I was previously driving a 1.3A Getz.... average FC was at 9 plus km/l

No wonder i ask my SIL abt her car's FC, she always say duno, act blur.

really?? then can teach me how to drive fuel economically? i thought be light on the throttle would be the key point alrdy. off air-con lagi fuel saving... driving that getz.. not much power somemore..drink so much.. haiz..

Getz auto maybe not so good, but my 1.6m constantly get 12~13km/L depending on how I drive.

 

So I don't know what's the fuss about. It's not as if every Jap car can do 15~20km/L all the time.

... i feel the engine is rather underpowered for the weight of the car. The 1.6L varient would be much better

For a small car, the FC is surprising not good. Abt 12km/ltr nia.

 

Pick-up damn poor. If sit 4 adults can hear the engine buffing like hell....like me running 2.4 km like that.(i always fail IPPT one ).

 

Do agreed Fc is about 10km/l for my fren's 1.4A getz and loud engine noise. His car got problem like minor leakage on some pipe (forgotten the name of it), side mirror assembly dropped off, etc. So he is not so lucky. to him, it is value for $$$.

U need to get the car up to cruising speed faster but not abruptly.

I guess to certain ppl, some areas are more important than others.

 

But for such a small car, FC of 10km/ltr is really unacceptable no matter what.

 

Its not as if the FC is a trade off for a more stable(heavy), comfortable ride.
