I'm looking to sell my car privately, but I haven't the foggiest idea how to price it? Is there any website that we can use to refer to.... besides sgcarmart!

.... or do I use the OMV, COE.... or whatever?

1. Call car dealers and ask how much they will take in.

2. Go to car dealers to see how much they are asking.

3. Ask a very high price. Keep dropping the price by $5,000 every month until someone bites. (Beyond a certain point, you'll start getting offers.)

Neutral Newbie

Go see what a similar car (to yours) is asking for on SGcarmart. If dealer selling just minus $4-5k for dealer commission, roughly should be around there. If course, things like condition, color and mileage make a difference in the price.

I sold my car privately last year and learn a few lessons from the experience. Don't listen to the dealers on the so called " value" of your current car. Just advertise your car yourself. The dealers were offering me between 1.5K to 3K above my paper value.

Finally, via sgcarmart, i manage to sell my car at $6K above the paper value.
