Ken_leong 2nd Gear September 26, 2008 Share September 26, 2008 Try #371 from Benny. Great stuff. Just spray on the carpet and into the aircon vent. Then go Daiso get those charcoal in jelly form or in small granule form. The #371 doesn't mask the smell but absorbs it. After that the charcoal will continue absorbing watever smell you have in you car.

When visiting air-con shops for repair and servicing, anyone came accross this product call ICE32? Or anyone know the contact of the guy from the old totoya forum in delphi forum selling this? If yes, can advice the shop name? Just change my car to EK3 recently and have used this product on my corolla which seems to be effective.
Alanhhg Neutral Newbie October 6, 2008 Share October 6, 2008 Can try setting temp to warm and let warm air blow without air con compressor switched on. Just the fan. But do wind down your windows and find a place that is not dusty so that the air going into your system is clean. Dont do it ater using your air con though as once your coil is cool it will cause condensation and cause more moisture and foul smell.

Louiscyr 2nd Gear May 10, 2016 Share May 10, 2016 Years ago when I drove my first car I placed some air refresher in the car. Initially without the air refresher my air con smells ok. With the air refresher, there will be a sour smell initially then after a while the air refresher smell will kick in. I spoke to Nam Hua(auto air con specialist) they told me that most of the time the air refresher is the one that causes such smell because of the hot and humid weather and our cars are parked under the sun. After which I removed the air refresher and stop using all these air refresher for all my cars and none of my car air con has that foul smell anymore. What you can do is to try to remove the air freshener if you are having it and monitor it for a while to see if it works.
