Nazaki Clutched August 19, 2008 Share August 19, 2008 Which will you choose? Both are within similar price range. Mazda 6 2.0 & BM Camry 2.0(no 2.4)& Camry 2.4L PI model. And why? Which is more comfortable? PS: Don't really care if BM Camry is Thailand car. ↡ Advertisement

En0203 2nd Gear August 23, 2008 Share August 23, 2008 depends on what u need - mazda 6 for the handling and camry for the generous cabin space but my vote goes to mazda 6 because i prefer car that handles well and sporty
The_young_once Neutral Newbie August 23, 2008 Share August 23, 2008 PI camry, because can specify base base spec to save some $, yet reliable, easy to drive, throw-around point A-B everyday vehicle the problem is that in sg, dealers, agent or PI, tend to offer these cat B coe cars as something more 'premium', so to speak, so (in my opinion) rubbish like alloy rims, body-colour painted wing mirrors, solar film, leather seat, and (worst) fog lights, these come as "standard"--in the case of agent model; bumping the cost up further i would rather view these cars (mazda 6, camry) as slightly more powerful alternatives to the whole stable of 1.6's thronging the streets of sg; aside from the "young executive" or "uncle towkay" image tagged to these cars, they should also be just plain simple point A-B vehicles, no frills because minus off the creature comforts and niceties, the car is still at the core, the same, be it 2 or 2.4L, inline-4s, front driven, nothing much to shout about, a bare bones base-spec'ed model would still drive as well as the agent counterpart; so why bother? but thats just me; similar argument can apply to axio (in its basest spec) compare with BM altis but i digress, back to thread topid: PI camry
The_young_once Neutral Newbie August 23, 2008 Share August 23, 2008 to TS, i also dont bother if thai or japan or china made, toyota is still toyota, mazda is still mazda to add on: because your choices only mazda 6 (agent), so its automatically out for me; if PI brought in base-spec manual mazda 6's, ha, then we got competition, for handling and design purposes, i would choose THIS mazda 6, that is if got such a choice
