Will_I_Am 2nd Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 Should be covered. Best to check with insurance company. Better not go - my colleague just got back from BKK few days back. He was stuck at the airport for one day. Messy place now.

Will_I_Am 2nd Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 Call Jetstar no use lah. AIG is the one to call coz they are the one paying. Maybe can get your friend to go thru' the terms and conditions when he bought the travel insurance.

Apollo 1st Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 http://app.mfa.gov.sg/2006/press/view_press.asp?post_id=4335 a military coup if it happen will still b a popular coup and not a blood coup. like i said, the election committee has declared fraud in samak succession so he is definitely on the way out, state of emergency may work against him. wat i see now is probably talks betw the military leaders on how to rein in the various groups to take over bangkok again and call for new election. Akula Turbocharged September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 Depends on his insurance coverage, but most prob will not cover. Currently in BKK for work, was here since Sun (31/08). Frankly if not for the news/media coverage will not feel that Bkk is in a state of emergency. Where we are staying and where we moved about commonly everything is as normal as anytime. The protest is at another part of Bkk and elsewhere.
Huiling Neutral Newbie September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 Hi, I am also flying to BKK with Jetstar.Suppose to fly this sunday. I just called them to postpone my travel date in Oct and they change for me with no hassle, waive off the fees for changing and I don't even need to top up the difference in air fares. Mine is a promo rate so by right cannot even change. Jetstar is by the way, your friend should call AIG to verify if the insurance is updated.Call 1800-4193000. I also just called them. Now waitng for the officer to get back to me
