Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax

I just bought a bottle after being inspired by fellow forumers doing their own detailing

 

 

is this good enough

 

it cost me $30+ for a bottle and comes with a sponge inside

i have used it, not bad. most places are selling at around $40.

of course its good enuff. U will love the hydropobic technology it offers. Do polish before u slap this on.

How come you buy already, then ask good anot..

If you have not detailed your car for years, buy a claybar and polish and wax cleaner also..

the NXT do have some cleaner properties in it. As for the sponge, i suggest that u only use 1 to 2 times cos after that it will become mushy

a better bet is to get the microfiber applicator from ntuc or maddetailer

lastly buff off with a proper MF cloth as it will help save a bit of strength

i used to pay for a package by AD to polish and sealant for 4 times

 

after reading here

 

i found that you can also do similar job for a ridiculously low price

 

that is it only cost the wax and a bit of hardwork

 

so I am giving myself a try

 

hopefully it turn out well will take picture and show later

This is good stuff and should be easy enough for a start. Just need a bit of time and sweat.

Anyway, this is a good product.. Just don't get the paste version unless you are very pro and have very strong arm..

I have used the paste 2.0 and the liquid 1.0 before

guess what

i still perfer the old trusty 3m perfect it liquid wax

 

it last the longest but it is a pain to buff off

i bought the bottle of tech wax half a year ago. used once. now sitting in store room

 

now i only shampoo, wash and use meguiar ultimate QD (sometimes even lazy to use QD). claying the whole vehicle is really

i also juz bought a bottle over the weekend and used it on my red lancer ex. so far i was impressed; itz so clear - i can even c my own face on my car door!

well... at least one good thing abt paste waxes is tat... IMHO, i find tat im able to apply paste wax thinner than those liquid ones...

i don't think you actually need to use UQD to wipe down entire car, imo UQD is usually used just here and there to clean/touch up dirty areas.

 

and i believe you can use it as often as you like

Its quite expensive for this rage of products.. prefer DG. Affordable and effect may be better
