I rented a 2005 cerato hatchback auto and immediately went to pump up all the 4 tyres to 255KPA hoping for reasonable FC but it returned only 10km/litre. me and wifey not very heavy footed. sometimes i off aircon too. quite alot of highway travel too.

Hope my coming forte has MUCH better FC! [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Hypersonic

2005 Cerato is still using the old engine, hp only 100+bhp only. While the Forte is using latest engine with 124bhp. Power to weight ratio is improvement already..

my 2nd tank of SPC92 returned 10.1km/litre from the 2005 cerato HB [sweatdrop]

Better double confirm that the cerato is able to use RON92.

that generation of ceratos are fuel guzzlers

cerato V2 not so bad.

forte is the best i heard.

yet to confirm cos many still running in.

but they can typically achieve 12km/litre on manual at 1000km odometer.

My friend is driving the manual version for cerato V1, his Fc around 11-12km/l, think quite bad but at least still in 2 figure region.

My 2005 V1 manual is also ard 12km/l +-, but i am on 215/45/17". Me not really light footed driver.... FC not really gd but reasonable for me... by the way my rims arent light weight kind...

Actually a lot of cerato on road is on 17". Maybe in order to compare FC, should try cars of other makes on 17" to compare??? [flowerface]
