bro...why not do a change of engine oil?

some rental cars may not be maintain that regularly

so a change of oil do helps....

That I agree. My friend used to work for one of the rental companies, can tell you, you will be surprised how often they service their vehicle.

well, that goes to show the old cerato is quite hardy.

 

just like sunny. sunny is a super hardy car, skipped servicing also no problem.

wow where you rent so cheap....cheaper than rent COE car

 

sori think i can get so cheap cos recommended by my SE whom i booked car from...normally cant get so cheap i guess

bro.. try using 95, heard frm my frenz that 92 octane lower, no power so tend to step more.. try 1 tank 95 test water .. see whether it will be better =)

 

yup maybe i try one tank of SPC95 test test...

btw many feel that SPC petrol is lousiest in sg (poor FC no power)...any comments anyone?

that generation of ceratos are fuel guzzlers

 

cerato V2 not so bad.

 

 

forte is the best i heard.

yet to confirm cos many still running in.

but they can typically achieve 12km/litre on manual at 1000km odometer.

is it true forte's engine is exactly same as the one used in avante & i30?

my 3rd tank of SPC92 on this rental 2005 cerato HB returned 10.56km/litre

dunno why but FC seems to be improving a teeny tiny bit...

your colleague's forte is auto i hope?

found out why my 4th tank only returned 8km/l.

rear right tyre deflated to 177kpa when i checked tyre pressure this morn...sigh... hope not punctured

if u r concerned about FC...why not get a latio..14km/L easy

Assuming that the FC will +1km/l after running in, that will make it 13km/l. Considered much better than the previous version. But for a manual, not really that impressive yet.

 

BTW, u r talking abt 1.6 or 2L?
