it's 122 hp turbo-charged 1.4 ........

The title already mention 160 bhps. Your 122bhps one is only TC. with another SC included, it will reach 160 bhps

ok, price? anyone know?

If I remember correctly, the 122bhps one is selling at $73.8k and the GTI wth 200 bhps is selling at $85k. So this 160hps should be between their prices

actually, i feel that this is a good price for this car. a conti car with all the features (side curtain airbag, cruise control, ESP, rain sensor etc)

as compared to last year, i think vw have reduced quite alot. i remember last year 1.4tsi (TC + SC) cost around $90K+.

but i don't get it...the 1.4TSI 122bhp is mated to a 6A/T while the 1.4TSI Sport 160bhp is mated to 7DSG...0-100 timings for 122bhp is 9.8secs, while the 160bhp is only 8.5secs...where did all the horses go? with 28more bhp, only 1.3secs improvement from 0-100? strange leh...can somebody enlighten me on this?

however, if you're considering the normal 1.4TSI with 122bhp, really good value for money...list price is $76,900 after less is around $73,900...which is actually cheaper than the HOnda Civic 1.8 140bhp...

honda now is really busted...

hi I went to VW ahowroom yesterday. price is now 77,900, less 1K for loan/ins rebate. May I know how updated your price of 73,900 is ? maybe your SE got better deal ?
