Mcf777 Turbocharged July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 im currently on NTUC at 20% NCD. When i ask for my next car quote, NTUC gave around 2.5K after 30% NCD. MSIG only quote around 1.2K after 30% NCD. What a big difference
Coolpica 4th Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 MSIG quoted me the lowest at $881 after 30% NCD, AIG quoted me $1600! However AIG comes with 10 days loss of usage.
Holyavartar Clutched July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 Would you all opt for higher excess for lower premium policy? Eg. Excess: $600 for $1350 comprehensive premium Maximum excess: $2100 for $1050 comprehensive premium The difference is an increase of $1500 for excess against a decrease of $300 for the premium. What will be your opinion then?

Ltcy Clutched July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 I'm currently with AIG. Premium is at $2800/yr with 0% NCD. It's due for renewal this month end and AIG quoted me $3.4k with 10% NCD. I got another quotation from MSIG, at $2.4k with 10% NCD. Both with the same excess of $1k.

Terence_oh Neutral Newbie July 3, 2009 Share July 3, 2009 (edited) AIG car insurance not bad..so far seldom hear people have problems claiming... From personal experience, AIG has an efficient claim process, no change in NCD or premium when other party's fault. Would choose them over other providers even if they're more expensive, let alone cheaper. Edited July 3, 2009 by Terence_oh
