Everyone can name a few horrible colleagues in their office.

But does anyone here think that the horrible colleague could

be you?

:D

If you are a victim of office politics and

vicious false rumors just like me please

don't give up hope. Just remember office

politics is just politics and in my case its

because of jealousy. People are just so

envious that I am so smart, good looking

and capable.

:D

I just ignore ...

I just work my socks off for the company...

I am not answerable to them, rather answerable to boss and the company ...

Time will tell .... :))

Had a difficult day in the office today.

Another dept had an emergency and asked me for details for a specific equipment. Being an engineer, I replied with spreadsheet and screenshots and explanations of how the system works and so on. After lunch, that guy, a GM, walked over to my desk and told him he dont understand my email. [laugh]

He told me to write to him in plain english cos he not engineer. [laugh]

I think I got to KISS..................Keep It Simple Stupid!!! :XD:

the best KISS is in powerpoint, and if you can put them into a few slides (not 10+ slides with full of words!)

voluntarily walk into his office and check if he wanna gather his ppl before you present to him

and follow-up by answers/feedbacks . . . .

you will definitely set a new path for your career next!

old thread new spin

Was told that I was not a team player.

Hardly go to drinking event hosted by the seniors.

Little did I know it was a scam.

The behaviour at the drinking even was so outrageous , it was more like a drinking blinging event

The folks there drink like no tomorrow under expense of vendor.

They vomit and than came back for more.

Now I am face with a problem

If dont report 2 instances of

1. going to a drinking session when a tender is upcoming / on going

2. Unruly and reputation damaging to the company to HR . If I go baotoh they will know who as I was the wallflower while the rest was FT.

3. Video evidence that will incriminate me or lack of as I did not take any

Its going to be a slippery slop

How do you guys handle such situation?

Bring the whole HR dept along on the next binge drinking session. You join early in the session but the HR dept arrive half way thru.

No good solutions.

Look for a new job?

Running away from a problem is not something I adopt.

We should stop becoming a victim of circumstance.

I think easier if the competing vendor caught wind of this and get all those people fired.

But that will include me ...

Yah, my initial thoughts too.. A big MNC should have some Whistle Blowing avenue so that the whistle blower stays anonymous. @sdf4786k Try looking up your company Code of Conduct or Policies to find the whistle blowing hotline.

Unless the person who is responsible for handling the whistle blowing policy was also drinking himself silly at the same event.
