i use elf 10W40 fully syn oil before... it was serviced at motorg*rd. However, take note that its those barrel oil, not those retail bottle type.

 

 

really cant compare to RL cos u can feel the roughness after 6K, but it was cheap that time... a 1.6l korean car serviced at $48 with oil changed and oil filter replaced.

WAH... thats cheap. yea i think i saw from the flyers they send to me. i stay ard that area

 

anyways. i nvr nvr trust barrel type of oils.

Smoother than redine actually............ quieter.

 

but its priced like $150 right?

just found a place that sells quote me $80, havent buy from there yet

 

but my normal supplier sell me at $90

Just try la, itz less than 100 bucks nia. RP really cant compare.

how come no one mention Motul?

 

If don't take price into account, which oil is the best for performance?

 

i havent try motul b4. but yea there are many many gd feebacks on this oil

nv tired RP before wor..

 

dont really intend to.. cuz i've found the one best suited for my needs liao.

 

the ones i tried b4. ranked accordingly

 

1)redline

2)preston

3)ows

4)amsoil

5)idemitsu

6)car l ube

 

But here that RL can only last till 8k like SHU, To me, if an engine oil can't maintain its quality till 10k, can forget about it for me. Because, it took me almost 1 yr to reach 10k km
