Sat in the 1.6L Auto and find the road noise pretty bad, SE said is from the exhaust. Engine like roaring. Not sure is the soundproofing adequate? You sure the 2L is quiet?

No lei. I think the sound proofing for 1.6 MT is good. Very quiet when driving. Probably the sun roof is open?

if u drive this on the road, will ppl comment behind 'aiya this sport car cant run la, cheap somemore...action nia'

thats wat my frens think of tuscani haha.

I agree. But somehow, with such a good package, I reckon it is difficult for someone who is thinking of changing car or owning first car to resist on that price range.

If along the 1.6 manual price range, which is 57,999, it is even cheaper than jazz/fit or sss.

magentis is more on luxury, comparable to hyundai sonata.

for forte, it's target on for different category buyers.

When I was at KIA showroom last week, Magentis is only going for $69,900. Think this week they increased the price to $71k. But compared to the $69k for 2.0L Forte, I'll take the Magentis anytime. Test drove it actually, not a bad drive, pretty quiet unless driven hard. Power is adequate, 164bhp, even higher than 2.0L Forte's 156bhp on paper.

With only $2k difference in price, the choice is very clear. You get much much better interior quality, equipment levels and space, not to mention a 10 speaker sound system. To me it beats 2.0L Forte in all aspects.

Yup, it's the driver, not the car! [thumbsup]

A driver driving kia coup may not lose to a driver driving faster car!

Anyway, in singapore, look good can already!

Seem tht Kia never shorten the air intake pipe .. too long & winding, which affect the airflow & hence the power ...

if can shorten the air intake and make it more direct, can improve slightly the hp ....

no turbo ... n haiz not a timing chain ... it's a belt! [shakehead][thumbsdown]
