V2-g Neutral Newbie December 29, 2009 Share December 29, 2009 fri nite... at carpark g or YD?? if given the choice, wld prefer to go VTTR, ATS rather than XYZ for BBK.. as for coils, i'm currently on hotbits now... wld say it's a balance between stock and track, cos not as hard as my colleagues who had D2 or Tein coilovers... Peter_25 Neutral Newbie December 29, 2009 Share December 29, 2009 so far those that installed XYZ Brake kit have good feedback. Maybe it depends on the car itself, but it is stil your choice which brand make you feel comfortable at all.
V2-g Neutral Newbie December 30, 2009 Share December 30, 2009 hot bits australian made? not cheap rite? i gotten mine from JB.... ex-speedworks staff from JB got it for me. was actually looking at either BC or D2 locally, but both, with customization to fit, wld take some time. so end up, took the hotbits route, as they already have it ready.. as for general servicing, i can still go back to them as the ex-speedworks staff had opened their own workshop.... Taichizi 1st Gear January 5, 2010 Author Share January 5, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the pics and link, bro. But, I was hoping for some FRs from the bros who have already installed the BBK and/or coilover. Edited January 5, 2010 by Taichizi
Disc6969 Neutral Newbie February 19, 2010 Share February 19, 2010 Bro, u got to compare the rotor size (330mm, 355mm, etc), 4 or 6pot caliper, whether 1 or 2 piece rotor with floating hat or not. All these adds up to the overall cost. Some like bosinni..some like CK...some like AIX. btw, I am using vTTR. Bros, i too intend to replace my car's front brake kit, but really dunno where should i head to, cos too many different brands and pricing. may i know wats the difference of 4 and 6 pot, how they works? is it better to buy 1pc or 2pcs rotors? why? and wats the "floating hat" refering to? with or without make a great difference? im driving only a 1.5 ltr car but with 18" rims installed, which rotor size should i choose? sorry guys for all the "long winded" questions! but i do hope tat someone can help me out here, really appreciate and thank u!
