If you want to look for more softwares, don't just rely on OVI store. Use the search engine.. u'll be able to find useful apps than OVI.

Current series of Nokia phones are good until it comes to file sharing. Also, applications available for it are very limited compared to iphone.

The whole OVI concept is an excellent idea, but the way its implemented for the users is a total flop. Its amazingly difficult to use and totally baffling. There is a good reason why the iphone took over a huge chunk of smart phone market from Nokia.

PS:

I'm a Nokia supporter for the past 8 years (..and still is! I'm using the N97 mini) and totally saddened to see that Nokia is now digging its grave. Its gonna end up like creative vs apple. Now creative is left in shambles..soon to follow in its wake is Nokia. Unless they dump the Symbian OS and re-implement OVI, nothing on earth can save them.

yep, i agree. the OVI store looks like and feels like crap compared to the apple store.

The OVI store is crap compared to the apple store, but at least its easier to use than the other OVI applications.

OVI is not just a store... its the entire group of applications (focusing on sharing & backups) that Nokia uses to empower their phones. Its a helluva confusing set of applications to use. Plenty of things to install here and there till u dunno wat u have installed or what not.
