Saw so many avante driven by chrapskate pple.but their behavior is like "I'm driving a luxury"car . Haha cmi. I wonder what you drive ? Even so, what you drive doesn't give you the right to comment like this. Really childish & ignorant. ↡ Advertisement

Albert34 Neutral Newbie January 19, 2010 Share January 19, 2010 Hi All Bro and Sis, Urgently need advice here. Signed the dotted line for Avante 1.6 4DR A "S" for $53, 999 yesterday 3.00 pm. This morning at 10.00 am , my SE called that I got the Open Cat COE of $19,000. (so said "the company is give the Open Cat COE to ONLY special and previlage people) Questions: (1) Is with this Open COE a good deal ( without actually bid for it) ? (2) Will this Open Cat COE affect my resale price after 3 years ? (3) they are processing all documents now ... shuold I put a stop to it. Thanks
Maverick88 Neutral Newbie January 19, 2010 Share January 19, 2010 Seems like they are giving you Nov COE that means your Cat A COE is 16,747. U can confirm with them. 4 Nov 2009 Round 1 16,747 18,389 16,989 902 19,
Darthkk Clutched January 19, 2010 Share January 19, 2010 (edited) The Cat E COE value will be peg to the value of the CAT A COE so it wll not be 19k For me I think it's ok la, you can get your car immediately, no need to wait for the COE result tomorrow, what if the COE chiong up high than they ask you to top up. Of course if the COE crash below 15k you luggi la as Hyundai is offering 15k COE rebate now right? But I don't think resale value will be affected much la, it all depends on if you want the car now or wait for tomorrow COE bidding. Albert34 Neutral Newbie January 19, 2010 Share January 19, 2010 Called the SE. Confirmed is the Nov 2009 Open Cat COE. He say is the privilege only given to certain customer . Ask me not to worry and trust him ........ Another thing .. there is stock for my Silver Avante and most properly will deliver my car by end Jan . Any way to check is the is is a old stock (meaning very old stock or is the 2008 model stock) ? How will this COE affect my Selling Price later ... (Hope can enlightened me) Tks
Darthkk Clutched January 19, 2010 Share January 19, 2010 I am not very sure about how it will affect your resale value.. But for your first questions, if you are getting the 2010 facelift version, than definitely is a new car right? if I am not wrong they only introduce the facelift version a few months back. Hiphiphoray 6th Gear January 19, 2010 Share January 19, 2010 i paid 48k for the Avante manual... for the 3k saving... 1k for the price different between Avante and Forte... another 2k from the old car trade in price... wat puzzle me is why hyundai sale can give me that fig but kia sale cant... conclusion is kia side is earning more from my old sunny... 48k for a manual ? Meaning OPC pricetag will be 48k-17k = 31k ? Thats god damn cheap! Can use on full saturday and sunday somemore. Even a simple normal plate Axio costs 70k now!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!
