Should HID be restricted to Luxury cars?

Xenon headlamps were introduced in 1991 as an option on the BMW 7-series. This first system used an unshielded, non-replaceable burner designated D1

what's the objective of this poll?

His M3 driving friend not happy that DDG completely failed, and need an alternative source of venting their frustration on cheapo car drivers. [knife]

The objective of the poll is to see if people thinks that HID headlamps should be reserved to luxury cars to distinguish them from regular cars.

Just like titanium cards etc.

so the level of luxury in cars is determined by the brightness of the headlights [smash]

And the purpose is for your new-found M5 friend to invent a new HID headlamp system by GDD that automatically high-beams when it detects a cheapo car in front?

I would stick to normal Halogen bulbs for my car. Thats because WRC cars dont use HID. Race cars dont use HID as well.

That's why the question. Not many people answered to the question posed.
