I do know of a a few collectors who drives Porsche, GTR, Ferrari also.

Yes and would not be surprised ..... don't know about the Singapore context

Casio , Seiko and Citizen are all good brands and very reliable .......... and definetely more reliable than the European brands

In fact Swatch was very popular @ one time about 15 -20 years back... now I dont see much marketing no more.

For me I wear my Gshocks daily. Luckily collab models are cheap. My dress watches are for display and for special occasions.

Those places doesn't have any nice Gshocks.

The Jap seems to be stagnant or complacent. The digital display is so passe - still using "matchsticks" to form up numbers and letterings!!!

What's so difficult in building a monochrome LCD display with better, nicer and natural looking fonts instead of matchsticks?

Though I am a mechanical watch person, I am actually looking for a digital display with such feature and long battery life on a square/rectangular watch.
