I bought my from some advertiser in this forum $770. Nope no mic in the package list.

I think if no change of speakers or add amp, just just inserting in the HU into the hole and tap the power and speakers leads.

Should not be more than $50.....maybe $30 for the half hour job?

Now enjoy my solid solid music in my Jazz.

I bought my 4250 from some advertiser in this forum $770.

Another $60 for the iu200V ipod cable! So total $830.

The manual list also say mic is optional item.

Neutral Newbie

Put a 4 channels power amp onto the new Altis with the factory fitted HU.

No pre-out, but luckly the amp can allow direct speaker line inputs.

But there is a hissing sound (according to the audio shop, is because of not using the pre-out of HU as inputs).

Questions :-

1) If I'm to change the HU with pre-out, will the hissing sound disappear ?

2) This pioneer HU, better than my current Altis factory fitted HU ?

Many thanks in advance, EH.

Question... is the TV function on all headunit good? as in reception wise... The seller told me got to install another antenna because our current car ones are not good at receiving signal for TV freq. Anyone can advise? Thankss.. Sorry for hijacking TS's thread, I'm using the 4250 as well, and I just want to check if it is possible to connect some sort of a GPS unit so as to add GPS capability to it? Since it has a 7 inch display, so am toying with the idea.
