Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Wondering if anyone that owns the Giulietta 1.4T MA had any issues with sluggish performance at the transition from Gear 1 to 2 and from 2 to 3 (in Dynamic Mode)?

I've only driven it for 6000KM and it used to be very responsive but recently, it feels like the clutch doesn't fully "bite" and my engine roars loudly but no power :\ Also not sure if turbo is kicking in properly or not.

Any advice is much appreciated.

HI Buddy, it could be a broken turbo pipe.

Mine went too, exact same feeling.

Simple to replace.

Cheers

We know how hard it is to find rims with 110 PCD. I'm thinking of getting adapters to fit 114.3 rims which are common. Is this even worth mentioning? Thanks

Do you drive hard? Is it worth introducing a variable into the system?

Not hard when I always have young ones as passengers but once in a blue moon when traffic is light.

Never done such modification before and sitting on the fence willing to hear some thoughts

Yes People do it, and they are aware of the consequences.

Not sure why you want to use Japanese PCDs though.

There's a host of 5 x 110 PCD rims for Alfa, that's very inline with its image and handling capabilities.

you might want to consider a 19inch Prodrive Rims the the 5 Horseshoe design.

Hi,

Could any kind souls tell me why are the back tyres slanted outwards?

Is this normal?

There is no heavy load in the boot.

I'm afraid this might cause uneven wearing to the tyres.

Detailed pic on photo 2.

Thank you so much!

It's more stable. You can read up on negative camber for rear wheels.

For cornering grip, so that your back doesn't slide too much.

Thank you! :)
