Turbocharged

No need fixed deposit.

Saw a flyer.

Standard Chartereed eSaver now offers 1.9% for limited period.

Is this good? Any catch?

the promotion only valid from Jan to Mar 19.

if you put $200K now for 1.9% ... you only get the interest for 2-weeks ending Mar 19

unless you put in on 1 Jan 19 for a full 3 months interest of $950 [thumbsup]

All these offers set out to confuse.

It shouldn't be allowed.

MAS should make these offers be set out in a standard pattern, so it's obvious what you are buying and no confusion.

Not sure if anyone has posted this from BOC.

Frankly I don’t find it that attractive but I suppose u can take out after 6mths unlike the normal 12 mths deposits where u get penalised for early withdrawal.

ICBC has shorter cycle of every 3 months and higher rates.
