From my little experiment and experience before, I tried an equivalent foam based drop in and k&n panel filter on my lau pok chia before....

I find that k&n is better in terms of smoother acceleration and pick up for auto cars, be it highways or start stop traffic situations.

K&N costs between $95-150 depends on model,oh yes it does increase a 'bit' of power due to more air enter the engine..

Can check with Mr Loo from Speedworks. His shop is at Genting Lane. Give a call before you go. One man show.

No. It does not. Just that your throttle will be lighter and the engine breathes better.

You buy aftermarket brands like k&n and Hurricane which are re-useable. Save cost over long term especially if OEM ones could cost more.
