I rather look at the KIA Sorento 2.4SX model for similar money. More luxurious, more gadgets, 5+2 seating, dual-zone auto air-con, middle and last row air-con, twin sunroof, hill descend, 6speed autobox.

The design of the Jeep's interior rear passenger door handle looks like it's blocked by the front seat, that's odd. Very spartan interior even compared with say Subaru Forester but at least Forester is compensated by the TC power.

Between the 3 choices for similar money. Sorento 1st choice follow by 2.5TC Forester, last choice Patriot.

I going to test it and if it good then this is my car. Its unique.

It's well worth the price. No regret for buying a true SUV.

Fully agreed. If TS is looking at SUV at this price range, the No 1 choice is the Kia Sorento SX which will have a lot of equipment and much better build.

American car are normally using a lot of hard plastic.

this interior is so bare . maybe it's me that like cars with alot of buttons .

but whatever it is , I can assure you it's gonna be a gas-guzzler .

Amm..... Sorento is not that rough looking SUV. Jeep is a real SUV.

But you don't need that locally.

Kia Sorento has a below expectation interior quality....

from the outside you look at the car, you think it's a Lexus,

but stepping inside, it's really cheapo plastics used....kinda reminded me of Subaru Forester hard and hollow plastic interior....

all the 'high-class' feeling from the exterior totally gone already....

as for the Jeep, i suppose the interior will definitely be made from hardy plastics cos they're easier to be clean off should they get dirty from the dirt, especially when you go off-roading in mud with this car, which it's actually build for....
