Need some idea on Mobil1 Engine Oil

giant got promo, $68 for 4L 5w30 big bottle type

can buy 4x4L and mix with your current 4L for your next 4 servicings!

 

Do note not all Giant outlets have this promotion. The Vivo outlet should still be running this promo. I got it last week.

 

The promotion is only for 5W 30 4 Litre. The other Mobil 1 oils are at regular price.

Got the last bottle of 0W-40 mobil one at mx tradings yesterday. My car only need 3L. So those 4L bottle not for me.

When using OW40 i need top up 1 litre EO after 5000km travelled... [sweatdrop]

 

But using 5W50 top up 1 litre after 7000km... [bounce2]

 

 

Ye engine seems to burn eo. Is yrs an older car?

Anyone interested in the 5w50 ? I bot the wrong viscosity from Giant, should have bot the w40. Or anyone interested to trade? Mine is the local 4L version.

The E60 2.5 litre engine eat up EO every 5000km no choice cos the on board computer will prompt me to top up... [bigcry]

This is normal for BMW.

same with my honda ody....

 

5k top up with 0.5L.

 

 

or,

driven hard to genting~400km...........0.5L

 

So this is normal for ODY? Cos I thought my engine leaking or it burn the that the EO vol drop. 7yr old ody.

Then use 50w eo or 60w even. :wacko:

its 0.5l for 2k if driven not too moderately.

 

guess its like that. Mine is 7.5 yrs old and i changed most seals and gasket within and in the cam cover.

I thought only conti engine will 'drink' EO.

Suprised that nippon engine also 'drink' EO.

Wow that means 4000 km drink 1 litre more thirsty than mine bro... [confused]

I think bigger engine with more cyclinder will drink more EO... [bigcry]

 

So maybe both Nihon and Conti same huh... [confused]
