To the more experienced bro's out there, There are lot of car on the roads that just scream "modded!" when you see them. Just wan to find out from you all which are the mods that are effective in improving the performance of your ride but not so obvious to the casual observer. Thanks in advance.

As Top Gear showed with their Renault Avantime project car, a good thorough service of your car can recover lost horsepower by replacing the air filter, cleaning out the throttle body, fresh spark plugs, and engine oil.

I would say proper maintenance to keep the car in optimal running condition and also investing in driving skills and road courtesy :)

I should say those overweight drivers should slim down. That's the most stealth mod to increase car performance! Police and LTA will never ever find out about it!

for illegal mods:

1) drop in a bigger engine.

2) turbo charged (TC) to max stage.

3) super charged (SC).

4) change to dual-clutch gearbox.

5) take away your spare tyre(which i don't recommend).

6) exhaust pipe.

7) etc etc.. so many.

for decent mods (lta approved) but not significant:

1) sport engine oil

2) super high octane petrol

3) open pod filter

4) suspension

5) strut bars

6) CAI

7) remove all your soft toys, cushions and stuffs.

8) reduce weight.. heee.

9) exhaust pipe which approved by lta.

10) etc etc.. so many.

IMO, the best option is to get a bigger stock engine or a stock car that comes with TC/SC itself.
