All the above go very well with rice porridge.

i like the chao-san-si and the stewed pork chops only.

 

did you know for a while in SG, the meiling and narcissus and other brands of pork products were not available for sale ??

 

searched high and low but cud not find .... then saw a person buy the last 2 CARTONS of the stewed pork from Carrefour.

 

but when they made a comeback, the prices almost doubled !!

They were not imported for some time because some chemical were found in them. However, the angmo luncheon meat just don't taste the same. Every now and then, I like to mix 1 can of pork cubes with 1 bowl of steaming hot porridge and a raw egg ...... very tasty though very unhealthy.

 

Anyway, there is one canned food I will never eat again and that is tinned cuttlefish. The meat is very stale tasting and there is a whiff of ammonia in the sauce.
