Rickster 5th Gear June 30, 2010 Share June 30, 2010 (edited) Been seeing wonderful claims on the FC of the Golf and Polo. Any new golf/polo owners can come in and shed some light on the actual FC they are getting? Edited June 30, 2010 by Rickster ↡ Advertisement

Paddie 3rd Gear June 30, 2010 Share June 30, 2010 Golf 1.4 TSI (122bhp). Average 7.3 L/100km (30-70 highway-city).
Paddie 3rd Gear June 30, 2010 Share June 30, 2010 I believe all cars cannot achieve their claimed fuel consumption figures in Singapore driving. The fuel consumption figures are derived from a standard set of tests and so are comparable between manufacturers. For e.g. Toyota Prius I think claimed is 25 km/L but the real consumption is closer to 17-18 km/L (still very good though).
Rickster 5th Gear June 30, 2010 Author Share June 30, 2010 Thanks for the replies, so far the FC looks similar to the FC of a 1.5L Jazz/Fit. Hopefully can have more reports for a better picture.
