implementing the same design throughout the product range is to save on designing costs....

as well as the manufacturing process lah....

haha....

tok abt using one design for whole range, no one does it "better" then mini. Have u seen the countryman?? Its literally a mini on steroids....

as long as it doesn't grow too much in size....

The usual practice is that they will take some design cues from their concept car and put them across their range of cars.

Yeah! by then only about 10% of the design cues from the concept car made it to the production car.

Mazda designs are the best imo for Asian/jap standards. This latest one lives up to that billing. but i guess with the market buying other jap brands more than mazda, guess design isn't their highest of priorities.

So far, Mazda look is not bad. That is only their selling point. They should invest more in under the bonnet. No point having just good look but poor performance & high FC.

Hopefully it is not just like another one of their bimbo with only 4 to 5th gears again

Actually i am not a big fan of mazda other than the RX8..

But this model looks very cool....

Btw, Mazda is also planning/designing the next version of "un-named" sports coupe to fight against " Toyota-Subaru FT-86 concept"...
