Totally sleek man. Are the specs nice? I'm looking into having a new car financed but can't think of any yet.

The new Prius line will have 2 versions: minivan/MPV or "Prius V" (aka MPV) and a compact, Prius "C"

Powerplant capacity unknown, but will be based on HSD-II, same as current Prius.

3-rows seater MPV with wheel-base around 2750-2780mm. That is about the size of Mazda-5 or Toyota Verso.

 

Starting 10-10-2010, Toyota is at it again with its teaser marketing of Prius V.

Yes, it does look abit like 1st gen Wish, especially from the front, doesn't it?

 

To my disappointment, this is NOT an mpv, as many had "wished".

Notice there is no 3rd row seat.

Instead we see a space wagon with 50% more capacity than current Prius hatch. Both share the same 2700mm wheelbase.

According Toyota USA, where the new Prius is shown in Detroit motorshow 2011, a Prius-based MPV is still in the work..

Toyota decides to delay its original April launch after the 3/11 earthquake.

 

This will be Toyota's first lithium-ion battery production hybrid vehicle.

Battery will be half the size of a conventional battery, providing the interior space was 3 rows seatings.
