Removing of aged chewing gum from rim

My bad for being lazy in the beginning... thinking that car wash will be able to wash the gums away...

now it had already aged and harden....

 

any kind soul out there could give me advise on removing this gums?

 

Thinking of using something hard to scrap off the gum but worry that it may harm the rim...dont want a weaken rim after removing the old gum.

GO to hardware store look for a product named "GOO GONE" ... hope this helps.

You can fight fire with fire first .

Try using chewing gums or musking tape to 'pull ' it out .If nothing moves , you can try what a bro has recommended - 'GOO GONE' .

 

 

I have use it to remove some very stubborn industrial strength double side tape on the car doors so using it on your rims shouldn't ' harm ' your rims at all .

err.... sometime I go MY and bought wrigleys chewing gum and after chewing for half a day , I just ' pui ' it out onto the road .... so .....
